Police Seek Driver Who Killed Pennsylvania Garbage Hauler

LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) — Police say they're looking for a driver who struck and killed a Pennsylvania garbage truck worker then left the scene.

Police in West Lampeter Township say the worker was struck about 5:20 a.m. Monday and pronounced dead a short time later at a hospital.

Investigators say the dead man is 24-year-old Vince Nalencz, of Media. They say he was working for Eagle Disposal of East Earl when the vehicle hit him. Police say it may have been a Ford or Mercury sport-utility vehicle.
