Police Search For Pair Posing As FedEx Delivery Workers In Bala Cynwyd
BALA CYNWYD, Pa. (CBS) -- Police are searching for two men who posed as FedEx delivery workers and attempted to burst into a home on the Main Line.
It happened around 7 a.m. Wednesday at a home along Dartmouth Road in Bala Cynwyd.
Homeowner Manisha Khoday says the door bell rang, and when she opened the door, two masked men dressed as FedEx delivery men and carrying packages tried to force open the glass storm door.
"I was shaken up. I didn't expect that. I thought maybe I was overreacting," Khoday says. "I just checked to see if there was a FedEx vehicle outside or anything like that. I could not see it on my street or even further down."
Khoday called 9-1-1 and the men took off.
Police say they canvassed the area and conducted a neighborhood check.
FedEx is cooperating with police. The company says all FedEx drivers are required to wear ID badges.
The investigation is ongoing.
