Police Searching For Man Who Robbed Popular Cobbs Creek Cheesesteak Shop 3 Times

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police in Philadelphia are searching for a man they believe robbed the Jim's Steaks in Cobbs Creek on three separate occasions.

On June 30th around 5 p.m., an unknown male entered the Jim's at 5605 Spruce Street and approached the counter, where he reportedly pulled a handgun and demanded money from the 63-year-old employee.

After the clerk gave him $30 from the register, the suspect took a drink from the refrigerator then fled on foot and was last seen heading west on the 5600 block of Spruce Street.

The suspect is believed to be the same man who robbed Jim's Steaks on two other occasions in June 2015.

The suspect is described as a black male around 20 years old with a dark complexion. He's about 5'7" with a thin build and a beard.
