Police Searching For Bicycling Suspects Who Shot Man In North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two suspects on bicycles are wanted for a shooting that injured a man in North Philadelphia.
The shooting happened on April 27 at 1:25 p.m.
Police arrived at the scene on the 2900 block of North Marshall Street, where they found a 46-year-old man unresponsive on the corner of Marshall & Indiana Avenue.
Surveillance footage from the scene shows the victim walking on North Marshall Street when two unknown males on bikes approach him from behind.
One of the suspects, who is armed with a handgun, can be seen shooting the victim once in the chest.
Both suspects fled the scene and were last seen going south on Marshall Street.
The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he is in extremely critical condition.
The first suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion who is in his teens. He was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and riding a BMX type bike.
The second suspect is described as a Hispanic or black male with light skin who was wearing a light colored shirt with stripes. He was also riding a BMX bicycle.
