Police Search For Missing Mentally Handicapped Man In Burlington County

PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) -- Police are asking for the public's help in locating a disabled man from Burlington County, New Jersey.

Police say 53-year-old Alipio Colon walked away from his home in Browns Mills, Pemberton Township around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Colon is mentally handicapped and insulin dependent.

Authorities say he is known to frequent Wawa stores and there was a possible sighting of Colon at the Browns Mills Wawa located on Juliustown Road.

He was last seen wearing a purple shirt with white letters "OTC" on it, gray sweat pants with orange stripes down the sides, black sneakers and a gray fanny pack.

Anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of Colon is urged to contact the Pemberton Township Police Department Central Dispatch at 609-723-8300.
