Philadelphia Police Find Missing 5-Year-Old, Babysitter, Mom

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police say they found a missing five-year-old girl, who disappeared Saturday afternoon, unharmed. Her 52-year-old babysitter and mother have also been located.

The child, Tamira Horton, was last seen around 2:30 p.m. at her home on the 2800 block of North 22nd Street.

Officers spoke to one of the girl's babysitters very early Sunday morning, a 55-year-old woman, who was watching the girl with her friend. The friend has only been identified as "Kendra."

The woman told police she left the home to pick up school supplies, and when she returned around 4 p.m., Tamira and "Kendra" were gone. She said she tried to call the child's mother, Lakisha Horton, then contacted police.

Police say Tamira, "Kendra," and Lakisha are all unharmed.

Northwest Detectives are investigating.
