PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police are searching for a gunman that opened fire in Olney Tuesday night, shooting one man and sending bullets flying through a home full of people.

Police say a 24-year-old man was leaving a home on Wagner Avenue near North 10th Street around 11:30 p.m. when a gunman fired 8-shots.

The victim was hit twice in the right arm, while two shots went through the front of the residence.

The 24-year-old ran three blocks to Einstein Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Luckily, none of the bullets that went into the home hit any of the 12 people inside, which included young children.

Police say a nearby business has surveillance cameras that may help in their investigation.
