Police Search For 2 Men Accused Of Robbing McDonald's In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for two men who are accused of robbing a McDonald's in Northeast Philadelphia last month.

On December 11 around 4:15 p.m., two males entered the fast food restaurant on the 7600 block of Castor Avenue in Rhawnhurst.

Police say after entering the McDonald's, one of the men pulled out a handgun and ordered the employees to go to the back of the restaurant.

Authorities say the second suspect remained in the front to keep an eye on the customers inside.

Police say the suspect forced a manager to take him to the safe and ordered him to remove the money and place it a black book bag.

Both suspects then fled the scene and were last seen on Glendale Street running between houses and a driveway.

Police describe the first suspect as light skin Black or Hispanic male, late teens to early twenties, 5'6",  with a thin build. He was wearing a black puffy jacket, black cargo pants, black timberland boots, a red and green Gucci belt, and was armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is described by police as a light skin Black or Hispanic male, late teens to early twenties, wearing a gray scarf over his face.
