Police Warn Of 'Heroin Pills' Being Distributed In Camden And Gloucester Counties
PITMAN, NJ (CBS) – Police in Gloucester County are warning area residents about "heroin pills."
According to the department's Facebook page, the heroin pills are being distributed in Camden and Gloucester counties.
They are a bluish green color with a capital "M" with a box around it on one side and the number 30 on the other side.
The pills are reportedly designed to mimic prescription drugs, but there are slight differences in the size and color.
Police say the pills are made from crushed Oxycodone or Percocet and mixed with heroin. They're then ingested or crushed and injected with a needle.
Anyone who sees a pill or has information on them is asked to call the Pitman Police Department.
