Police Say Deaths Of 2 Being Investigated As Possible Murder-Suicide

HAZLETON, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say the deaths of a man and woman found with gunshot wounds in their northeastern Pennsylvania home are being investigated as a possible murder-suicide.

Police in Luzerne County called to the Hazleton residence shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday found the bodies of the two.

Deputy Coroner Jeff Stock identified them as 55-year-old Wayne Volciak and 51-year-old Michelle Volciak. He said they had died within hours of being found.

An official ruling on a cause and manner of death has not yet been made.

Michelle Volciak operated a cake and cupcake bakery called Michelle's Creative Cakes.
