2 In Custody After Police Pursuit Ends In Crash On I-95 Near Airport
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Authorities say two people are in custody after a police chase ended in a crash near Philadelphia International Airport.
Officials say Delaware State Police were chasing a suspected bank robber north on I-95.
The suspect allegedly robbed a Citizens Bank on Marsh Road just after noon and police began pursuing their vehicle. The chase eventually entered Pennsylvania, prompting Pennsylvania State Police to takeover the pursuit.
The chase ended in a crash on I-95 near Philadelphia International Airport.
Two Pennsylvania State Police cruisers were involved in the accident with the suspect's vehicle.
The FBI was also involved in the pursuit.
There are no reported injuries.
The incident is under investigation.
