Police: Girl, 18, Strangled Inside Kensington Home; Victim Identified

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The death of a teenage girl who was found in her bedroom by her father inside her Philadelphia home Friday morning has been ruled a homicide.

Investigators say the discovery was made at about 6:20 a.m. inside a home in the 3100 block of Hartville Street in the city's Kensington section.

According to investigators, the father of 18-year-old Margaret Molina found her in her bedroom unresponsive and with head trauma.

Molina was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.

Investigators say Molina was strangled and her death is considered a homicide.

So far, no arrests have been made.

The incident remains under investigation.
