Police: Woman Shot, Killed Inside Home During Apparent Robbery In Pottstown

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Pa. (CBS) — A homicide investigation is underway after a person was shot and killed inside of a home in Pottstown.
Officials Investigate After 1 Person Hurt In Blaze In Belmont
It happened just before 7 p.m. Sunday at North Washington Street and Jefferson Avenue. Police were notified of a reported security alarm.
Authorities have identified the victim as 38-year-old Sylvia Williams of Pottstown.
She was found in a second-floor bedroom with a gunshot wound.
There's still no word on a suspect or a motive, but authorities believe it was a home invasion robbery.
