Police ID Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, N.J., (CBS) – Police in Cherry Hill are investigating after they say a pedestrian was struck and killed Tuesday night.

It happened around 8:45 p.m. at Berlin Road and Cranford Road.

Police say 26-year-old Lisa Vitale was struck by a Kia Sorrento in the inside lane of Berlin Road. The Kia was driven by a 49-year-old female from Sewell.

She remained at the scene and has been cooperative with police.

The victim succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

Police ask anyone who witnessed the crash to call the Traffic Safety Unit at 856-488-7820.

No charges have been filed against the driver.
