Police: Pedestrian Fatally Struck In Galloway Township

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J., (CBS) – Police say a pedestrian was fatally struck in Galloway Township, Atlantic County.

Galloway Township Police say it happened at about 4:32 p.m. Monday at E. White Horse Pike (US-30) and S. Sixth Avenue.

Police say a vehicle was travelling east on Route 30, when it struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene, according to police.

Police say the pedestrian's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
