Police: Part Of Human Leg Washes Up Along Delaware River
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a woman found part of a human leg while walking her dog along the Delaware River on Sunday.
Police say the leg resembles the lower part of a leg, from the knee down, with the foot still attached.
Police tell Eyewitness News there was no clothing and no markings on the limb.
No other body parts were found.
After police arrived on scene, the leg was transported to the Gloucester County Medical Examiner where a DNA sample will be collected to make an identification.
The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office is working with law enforcement to identify the leg.
