Police: Pa. Woman And Her Son Confess To Beating Ex-Husband With Club

ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. (AP) — State police say a man killed behind a western Pennsylvania grocery store was apparently beaten to death by his ex-wife and her son.

Online court records don't list attorneys for the suspects, 40-year-old Lisa Jones-Orock, and her son, Zachary Jones, both of Ellwood City.

Police say they've confessed to beating 57-year-old Gerald Lee Orock Jr., of Fombell, with a club near the loading dock of Loccisano's Golden Dawn about 11 p.m. Sunday. The store is also in Ellwood City, about 35 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.

Police in March had charged Jones-Orock with trying to slice Orock's genitals with a box cutter, but those charges were dropped. Police say the couple had history of domestic disputes.

The suspects were in custody and awaiting arraignment Monday afternoon on criminal homicide charges.
