Police: Pa. Sex Offender Flashed School Buses, Tracked Schedules

UNIONTOWN, Pa. (AP) -- A convicted sex offender has been jailed on charges he exposed himself to children by standing naked in the window when school buses stopped near his Pennsylvania home.

Uniontown police say 47-year-old Richard Harbaugh Jr. even kept a journal so he'd know when the various buses stopped near his home.

Harbaugh, who was convicted for sexually assaulting a child in 2009, declined comment after his arrest Tuesday and online court records don't list an attorney.

Police say a security officer noticed Harbaugh standing naked several times and a bus driver was able to snap a picture last week.

The children who use the bus stop near Harbaugh's home are 6 to 10 years old.

He faces a preliminary hearing May 26 on indecent exposure, corruption of minor and other charges.
