Police Officer Taken To Hospital Following Motorcycle Accident In Bucks County
BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) -- Chopper 3 was over the scene of an accident involving a police officer on a motorcycle Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the accident occurred in the area of Knights Road, just north of Street Road in Bensalem around 3:30 p.m.
Authorities say the motorcycle and another vehicle collided at the intersection.
Police say the striking vehicle was exiting the Kohl's shopping center when it crashed into the police motorcycle traveling north on Knights Road.
Police say the officer is okay and was taken to Aria Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. The other driver is cooperating with authorities.
