Police Officer Injured In Frankford Car Accident

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say an officer suffered minor injuries during an accident involving a Philadelphia Police car in the Frankford section of the city Thursday morning.

The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. at Harbison Avenue and Tacony Street.

The police car rear-ended a parked mini-van for an unknown reason, according to police.

The officer suffered lower leg injuries and was taken to Aria Health Torresdale Hospital in stable condition.
