Police: Officer Dragged In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Investigators say a driver dragged a Philadelphia Police officer several feet in North Philadelphia Wednesday night.

This happened during a car stop near 21st and Oxford Avenue.

Police say the officer fired at least one shot at the car before it got away.Police located the empty car on North Lambert Street a short time later.

The police officer only suffered minor injuries.

Authorities identified a man who turned up at Jefferson Hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm as the driver.
