Police: New Jersey Man Arrested In Delaware Had 15K Baggies Of Heroin

MILTON, Del. (AP) -- A New Jersey man has been arrested in Delaware after police say they found 15,000 baggies of heroin in his car during a traffic stop.

Delaware State Police said Wednesday that troopers pulled over 32-year-old Davon Tucker of Paterson, New Jersey, for speeding in Milton, Delaware on Tuesday.

After a trooper asked Tucker about an odor of marijuana, police say Tucker turned over a plastic bag with nearly 3 grams of pot from the center console. During an ensuing search of the car, police say troopers found 15,000 small, wax-paper baggies containing heroin weighing 225 grams in the trunk.

Police say the estimated street value of the heroin is about $150,000.

Tucker is being held on $122,600 cash bail on multiple drug charges. It's unclear whether he has an attorney.
