Police: Mother, Child Struck By Vehicle In Woodlynne

WOODLYNNE, N.J., (CBS) – Police are investigating after they say a mother and her child were struck by a vehicle in Woodlynne, Camden County.

It happened Thursday, Nov. 13 at the corner of Maple and Woodlynne Avenues.

Woodlynne Police say a mother and her five-year-old child were struck as they were crossing Maple Avenue in the crosswalk.

Police are searching for a newer model Dodge Durango believed to have Pennsylvania tags and possible front-end damage. Police say the vehicle fled the scene and was last seen heading into Camden.

There is no word on the victims' conditions at this time.
