Police: Missing Woman Found Dead In Trunk Of Car In Mayfair

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police say the body of a missing woman was found inside the trunk of her car on Friday.

The vehicle was located on the 7500 block of Leon Street in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia just before 1 p.m.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have identified the woman as Tinika Ballard, who was reported missing earlier this week.

According to police, the 23-year-old woman was last seen by her mother at their home on Vista Street when she drove off in her white Chevy Cruz.
