Police: Man Waving Crossbow Arrested On Pa. Street

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (AP) — Police say a Northeastern Pennsylvania man waved a loaded crossbow at passersby and fired an arrow at a car.

Joseph Warnagiris is charged with aggravated assault, making terroristic threats and other offenses in connection with the incident Monday in Wilkes-Barre.

Police say they used a stun gun to subdue Warnagiris.

They say the 29-year-old was hospitalized for a mental health evaluation because he appeared "mentally unstable."
