Police: Man Robs Bank In Rehoboth Beach

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. (AP) -- State police say a man robbed a bank in Rehoboth Beach after handing a teller a note and implying he was armed.

The robbery occurred shortly before noon on Saturday at the Capital One Bank branch on Old Landing Road. Police say the man implied that he was armed but never displayed a weapon. The teller handed over some cash and the man fled.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, 20-25 years old. Authorities add that he was between 5'6" and 5'8", between 140 and 150 lbs. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, a brown hat and glasses.

No video surveillance footage is available at this time.
