Caught On Tape: Man Points Blood-Filled Syringe At Woman During Robbery In Kensington

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are on the hunt for a man accused of pointing a blood-filled syringe at a woman in an attempt to rob her.

Authorities say on November 8 around 1:38 a.m., the 32-year-old victim was inside Eddie's restaurant on 113 East Allegheny Avenue when she was approached by the suspect.

The man then began pointing a blood-filled syringe at her and demanded money.

The victim threw $200 at the suspect and he fled the scene in an unknown direction.

No one was injured in the incident.

The man is described as Hispanic or Dominican, around 30-35-years-old, 5'10" tall, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and Adidas track pants.
