Police: Man In Custody After Barricading Himself, Baby Inside Northeast Philadelphia Home

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police say a man is in custody after a standoff in Holmesburg. The standoff began around 6 a.m. morning on the 7900 block of Frankford Avenue.

Investigators say the man had his 2-month-old baby with him when he barricaded himself.

According to police, the baby was dropped twice.

The child suffered a cut to his head but is expected to be OK.

Police did not recover any weapons from the home.
