Police: Man Gunned Down In West Phila., Son May Have Witnessed Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a 29-year-old man was gunned down in West Philadelphia on Wednesday night.

Police say his 12-year-old son may have witnessed the shooting.

Police found the victim laying on the front steps of the Mantua Haverford Community Center on N. 39th Street.

Officials say he had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police have reviewed surveillance video. They say it appears the victim got into an argument with another man who opened fire.

The shooter fled the scene.
