Police Looking For Window Washing Thief In South Jersey

By Mike DeNardo

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are looking for a window washer who's charged with stealing 28 thousand dollars worth of jewelry from 2 South Jersey homes.

Police in Evesham Township are looking for a window-washing jewelry thief. Lieutenant Joseph Friel said a woman living on Normandy Road reported her engagement ring had disappeared right after workers from Paul's Window Washing Service of Philadelphia were in her house on July 7.

"When they left, she went to check where her ring was," said Friel. "And it was missing." Friel stated the woman was talking with a friend who also lost a ring.

"That resident, also from Evesham Township, called our agency and our officers spoke with her," said Friel. "We were able to connect the two to the same window cleaning company."

A warrant has been issued for 44-year-old Brandon Sanabria of Philadelphia. He's wanted on two counts of theft. Friel said the company, Paul's Window Washing has cooperated fully in the investigation and is not suspected of any crimes.
