LANSDOWNE, Pa. (CBS) -- Students were screened and their bags searched at the entrance of Penn Wood High School and Middle School in Delaware County, Friday morning. The precautions were in response to a threat against both schools on social media.

The schools were still open as usual but police say they are working with the school district to ensure everyone's safety.

If you have any information about the threat, contact police.
