Police Investigating After Baby Found Dead In A Shoe Box In New Castle County

DUNLINDEN ACRES, Del. (CBS)—New Castle County Police are investigating after an infant was found dead in a home on the 3800 block of Eunice Avenue in the community of Dunlinden Acres.

The baby was found by a family member inside of a shoe box.

According to police, the infant was weeks old and born to a 15-year-old.

Further details were not immediately available.

Detectives are working with the Delaware State Medical Examiner's Office and will be releasing additional information.
