Police Investigating 2 Attempted Lurings In Burlington County

TABERNACLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (CBS) – Police in New Jersey are warning parents to be on the lookout after two alleged attempted lurings in Tabernacle Township.

On the afternoons of March 12 and 22, a suspicious man reportedly followed and approached two young girls while they were walking in the area of Powell Road.

The suspect also allegedly attempted to start a conversation with one of the girls on one occasion.

While the incidents are separate, the description given by the two children matched up. The suspect is described as a white male between 30 and 40 years old. He is said to be heavy set with a long, dark beard and a high-pitched voice.

The suspect was driving a black and gray vehicle with a white stripe that runs from the front-middle to the rear tire.
