Police Investigate Suspected Firebombing In Germantown

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a suspected firebombing in Germantown.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. Monday at a home along East Coulter Street.

Firefighters arrived to find flames near the front door of the residence and quickly extinguished the fire.

Police say eight people inside the home escaped the fire safely.

Investigators say they believe it was caused by a firebombing that stemmed from an ongoing dispute between a few teenage girls over a boy.

No injuries were reported and there was no immediate word on any arrests.
