Police: 1 Hospitalized In Olney Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating after they say a man was shot in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood.

Police say it happened at about 6:49 p.m. Thursday at the unit block of Linton Street.

According to Philadelphia Police, a 50-year-old man was shot in the back.

Police say he was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center and placed in critical condition.

An investigation is underway.

Police say no arrests have been made at this time.
