Police Investigate Following Early Morning Shooting Death

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police are investigating after a man was found dead shortly after 7 a.m. on Monday.

The body was found in the city's Kingsessing neighborhood on the 5300 block of Reinhard Street.

According to authorities, the body found was that of a male in his late 20's or early 30's. Police say that the man was found with one gunshot wound to the head.

Authorities say the man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police recovered no weapon and an arrest has not been made at this time.
