School Given All Clear After Police Probe Threat In Gloucester City

GLOUCESTER CITY, N.J. (CBS) -- According to the Gloucester City School District, around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday Gloucester City Junior-Senior High School received a phone call from the FBI in Washington alerting them of a threat they saw on Twitter.

The tweet was allegedly sent from one student to another and it said something to the extent of "blowing up the school."

The school responded by evacuating the building and moving all students and staff to a safe location.

Police searched the building and did not find anything dangerous.

The student who allegedly sent the tweet was brought to police. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.

All school operations have returned to normal.
