Police Investigate Murder-Suicide In North Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia police are investigating what they're calling a murder-suicide that occurred Saturday afternoon in the city's West Allegheny neighborhood.

Police say they found two people shot dead around 2:30 p.m. inside the home located on the 2600 block of West Somerset Street.

According to police, a 40-year-old man was found shot in the head and a 30-year-old woman was found shot in the chest. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Arrests were made earlier in the afternoon after a fight broke out in front of the home.

Police are investigating.
