NEW CASTLE, Del. (CBS) - Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Friday morning in New Castle.

The accident happened around 5:30 a.m. on the 800 block of Cox Neck Road.

Police say 66-year-old Richard H. Murray, of Dover, was operating a 2014 Ford F-150 when his vehicle drifted off the south side of the road and struck a traffic signal box and an embankment. The truck then went airborne and struck a tree before overturning and landing on its roof.
