Police In Ocean County Trying To ID Body Of Man Found Monday

EAGLESWOOD, NJ (CBS) – Police in Ocean County are reaching out to the public for help identifying the body of a man.

The body of the unidentified male was found in Stafford Forge State Forest on Monday by two people walking a dog.

Officials say there were no obvious signs of trauma, but the cause and manner of the man's death has not yet been determined.

The man apparently had no identification on him, and Toms River Police are seeking to identify him. He's described as between 5'5" and 5'8' tall and between 130 and 165 lbs. He's believed to be of Hispanic heritage and may be between 50 to 60 years old. The Toms River Police Department has released a sketch of the male that can be viewed here.
