Police In Chester County Arrest Man In Connection With 6 Burglaries

WAYNE, Pa. (CBS) – Police in Chester County have arrested a man they believe is responsible for six burglaries and an attempted burglary in October and November of 2014.

Joseph Calvin Phipps, 47, is the suspect in the robberies, which occurred in various locations in Wayne including Fox Chapel Lane, Ringneck Lane and Laurel Lane.

Phipps is charged with Six counts of Burglary while Occupant not Present; Theft by Unlawful Taking; Receiving Stolen Property and Carrying a Firearm without a License. He's currently in Chester County Prison awaiting trial in connection with a September 2014 burglary that happened in Tredyffrin.
