Police ID Victim Of Community Center Shooting In Delaware

NEW CASTLE, Del. (CBS) – New Castle County Police have identified the victim who was shot and killed at the Rosehill Community Center in New Castle, Delaware Monday afternoon.

Authorities say 30-year-old Jamar Kilgoe was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Police say an investigation found the victim was in a recording studio in the lower level of the community center when he was shot by an unknown male suspect.

Police put the building on lockdown for about three hours yesterday and sent all children home.

Officials describe the suspect as an African-American male, large build, last seen wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and dark shoes.
