Police ID 1 Suspect In Armed Robbery Of Temple Student

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia Police have identified a suspect in an armed robbery at the home of a Temple University student on Tuesday night.

Police say that two men, ages 21 and 23, returned to their home on North 13th Street with a 22-year-old woman around 10 p.m., and as they opened the door, two men armed with handguns forced their way inside demanding money and other items.

After taking an undetermined amount of cash, the two suspects left the area on foot, but surveillance video captured one of the gunmen on his way out.

The first suspect is described as a 20-year-old black man, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black skull cap, gloves, and armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is described as a 20-year-old black man, dark complected, short cropped black hair, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and gloves.

Police say anyone with information regarding the suspect should call 9-1-1, or 215-686-TIPS.
