Police: Store's Lingerie Department Robbed In South Jersey

DEPTFORD Twp., N.J., (CBS) – Police are investigating an armed robbery at a department store in Deptford Township, New Jersey.

Deptford Township Police say it happened around 9:40 p.m. Monday at Macy's at the Deptford Mall.

According to police, a man allegedly pulled out a handgun and ordered an employee in the lingerie department to give him cash from the register.

Police say he made off with just under $1,200.

The suspect is described by police as about 6'2" and wearing dark clothing. Police say he was last seen fleeing in a white sedan with tinted windows and unknown tags.
