NJ Police Warning About Car Burglaries At Freedom Park

MEDFORD, N.J. (CBS) -- Authorities in Medford are asking for the public's help after a pair of car burglaries that took place near Freedom Park on Union Street.

Authorities say that on Saturday, July 30, around 2:!9 p.m., police were on the scene at Freedom Park. Officials say a woman told police that the driver's side window of her white Honda Civic was smashed in.

She reported that a purse was taken, containing a watch worth around $200.00.

As police on the scene investigated the incident, a nearby Honda CRV was found, in the same parking lot, with similar damage.

Police say a purse was missing from that vehicle as well, along with $26.00 in cash.
