Police Break Up Massive Fight At Dover Downs Casino

DOVER, Del. (AP) — Police say three people were charged as officers broke up a large fight in the parking lot of Dover Downs casino.

Dover officers called to the casino early Thursday found more than 200 people in the parking lot fighting and acting disorderly.

As officers worked to break up the crowd, police say a man fled from an officer, but was caught after a short chase. Police say the man, 19-year-old Lance Chadwick, had been fighting with 21-year-old Christopher Cox, who was also arrested.

Police say they have charged the two men from Brooklyn, N.Y., and 22-year-old Danessa Claye of Staten Island, N.Y. with disorderly conduct.

Police believe that the majority of the crowd was inside the Doc Magrogan's Oyster House before the incident.
