Police Arrest 2 Teens Connected To Philadelphia Attacks, Robberies

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say two 15-year-olds have been arrested in connection to the string of incidents that happened recently in several Philadelphia neighborhoods.

Police say one teen was arrested Friday night and another on Saturday afternoon. Police have been looking for a group of teens responsible for several attack and robbery incidents this month.

On Thursday, police say the group attacked a woman with mace, punched her and took her iPhone and other items on 1800 block of North Street in the Spring Garden section of the city. Shortly before that, police released surveillance video of the teens choking and stealing an iPhone from a 13-year-old last week in Fairmount.

Investigators believe the same group is responsible for as many as six assaults and robberies since February 9th and most of the incidents happen in the afternoon hours.

Police continue to search for one more suspect in these crimes
