Police: $31K Taken In Robbery Of Juniata Check Cashing Store
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating after they say $31,000 was taken during an armed robbery of a check cashing store in Philadelphia's Juniata neighborhood.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of East Hunting Park Avenue.
Police say the suspect is described as a black male, about 5'9", wearing a black hoodie and black jeans.
No injuries were reported.
An investigation is underway.
