Police: 27-Year-Old Shot To Death In Strawberry Mansion

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police responded to a call after shots were fired in the city's Strawberry Mansion section on Wednesday night.

Police say a 27-year-old was shot multiple times in the chest, back, neck and face shortly before 8:oo p.m. The incident took place on the 2800 block of Huntingdon Street.

Officials say the man was taken to Temple University Hospital by police where he was pronounced dead shortly after 8:00 p.m.

Authorities say that a vehicle involved in the incident was recovered and an arrest has been made in the incident.
