Police: 2 Horses, Several Chickens Die In Overnight Barn Fire In Bucks County

SOLEBURY Twp., Pa. (CBS) – Two horses and several chickens died in an overnight barn fire in Solebury Township, police say.

Around 3:30 a.m. Monday, police say they received a 911 call about the barn fire on the 6500 block of Sawmill Road.

Officers arrived to find the barn fully engulfed in flames. Residents told officers they attempted to rescue the horses and chickens trapped inside, but were unsuccessful.

The fire is under investigation by the Solebury Township and Bucks County Fire Marshal's Office.
